The Dutch cargo ship
Leike arrived this evening and tied up at pier 31 with the assistance of
Atlantic Oak. Built in 2011, the 7580 gross ton, 9,214 deadweight vessel is operated by Moerman.
Although it appeared to have a severe list to port when first spotted, it looked to be in quite normal trim by the time it had reached the inner harbour. It may be very tender due to its odd loading configuration: no containers on number one hatch, and three or four tiers of containers on the remainder of the deck. In the case of hatches three and four, they seemed to exceed normal working of the deck cranes - let's hope they are empties.
