Ance arriving for Basin anchorage
The tanker Ance arrived at dusk and sailed directly to anchorage in Bedford Basin. Its last port is listed as Baltimore and the ship is in ballast.
Built in 2006, in Rijeka, Croatia, it is a products tanker of 30,641 gross tons, 52,622 deadweight tons and is registered in the Marshall Islands.
It is operated for the Latvian Shipping Co of Riga, Latvia. We have seen several of their dry cargo ships over the years, but this is the first time for one of their tankers.
