The Canadian owned, but (seasonally) Barbados registered Rosaire A. Desgagnés sailed this afternoon, January 8. The ship arrived January 4 in ballast from El Ferrol, Spain and remained at anchor until this morning.
The ship then moved to PSA Fairview Cove where it loaded containers.
The ship is not fitted with cellular container guides in its holds, as far as I know, so the containers were likely secured with lashings and dunnage - and were apparently empty, as the ship showed no significant change in draft. It seems likely that this is a "sweeper" trip, picking up empty containers to re-position them in a foreigh port.
On sailing the ship gave Argentia, NL as destination.
