Morning Pride

 When the Eukor auto carrier Morning Pride arrived yesterday, June 20, at Autoport, it was nearly blocked from view by the tall grass that has grown up this spring.

I had no desire to wade through it and risk accumulating ticks, so decided to try again today. 

The ship moved late afternoon June 20 to Pier 9C and unloaded various items of  industrial equipment and machinery.It was ready to sail late this morning, June 21and there was nothing to block a view as it made its way through the Narrows.

The Morning Pride was built by Hyundai Heavy Industry Co Ltd in Gunsan in 2014. The 65,424 gt, 22,765 dwt ship has a capacity of 7627 CEU.

It is equipped with the usual stern ramp and a side ramp. So far I have not found a record of the ramp capacities.

The ship arrived on the usual loop of north European ports - most recently Bremerhaven, Goteborg, Zeebrugge, and Southampton and sailed for Newark.
