The French sail training schooner Rara Avis arrived yesterday afternoon. A regular visitor in Halifax over the years, the 1957 built vessel often sails in company with fleet mate Bel Espoir II. They do a regular yearly run from France to the Caribbean and up the east coast of North America, usually including St-Pierre et Miquelon, before heading home.
