The container ship CMA CGM l'Etoile LBR x E.R. Camargue -05, 26836/05, 2556 TEU made a surprisingly short stay at Halterm this afternoon. The ship was in for no more than half an hour, leaving at 4 pm.

This ship is not on CMA CGM's regular service to Halifax, so why did it call? Usually calls this short are for a medical emergency, where a crew member cannot be airlifted from the ship and must be landed. I have no furthter info on this, but here are some pictures of the unique caller to Halifax.

Listen to my Harbour Watcher report on Information Morning CBC Radio I, 90.5FM in Halifax. It broadcasts at about 6:45 a.m. Atlantic Time (I know it's early for me too, but I'm not ready for prime time) every second Tuesday.
