ONE Meishin

Today's (October 8) Premier Alliance arrival on the EC3 service is ONE Meishin another of the "M" class ships built for K-Line, now a member of the Ocean Network Express.

Delivered in 2018 it carried the traditional K-Line name Meishin Bridge. Tonnages were recorded as 152.068 gross and 146,648 deadweight, with a nominal capacity of 14,000 TEU, but usually quoted at 13,900.

As part of the ongoing integration of K-Line, MOL and NYK ships into the ONE consortium, the ship's gray hull was repainted in ONE magenta and the ship was renamed during a drydocking in 2023.

[The Meishin Expressway is a toll road running between Nagoya and Kobe, Japan. There are several bridges on the highway. This ship's name does not refer to any one specific bridge.]
