1. Aivik was running substitute for Atlantic Searoute Ltd in 1991 (now Oceanex).
Literally with the stroke of a pen the heavy lift ship Aivik became the Panamanian Aivik I sometime over the weekend. No word yet on when the ship will be sailing or where, but her new owners are certainly economical with paint.
