Freezing spray warnings were issued for the harbour and approaches today as temperatures plunged and the wind picked up in advance of some nasty weather for the next few days.
Rotterdam Express showed some icing on her bow as she arrived this afternoon, and spray was freezing on contact with the tugs Atlantic Larch and Atlantic Oak as they worked the ship up the Narrows in a strong breeze.
